libjboss-xnio-java software package provides simplified low-level I/O layer for NIO, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjboss-xnio-java
libjboss-xnio-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjboss-xnio-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjboss-xnio-java *
You will get with libjboss-xnio-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
