libjava-gnome-jni software package provides Java-gnome language bindings project JNI layer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjava-gnome-jni
libjava-gnome-jni is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjava-gnome-jni package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjava-gnome-jni *
You will get with libjava-gnome-jni package name, version, architecture and description in a table
