libjana-examples software package provides Example applications for libjana, libjana-ecal and libjana-gtk, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjana-examples
libjana-examples is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjana-examples package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjana-examples *
You will get with libjana-examples package name, version, architecture and description in a table
