libipaddr-ocaml-dev software package provides library for manipulation of IP (and MAC) address representations (dev files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libipaddr-ocaml-dev
libipaddr-ocaml-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libipaddr-ocaml-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libipaddr-ocaml-dev *
You will get with libipaddr-ocaml-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
