libinklevel5 software package provides library for checking the ink level of your local printer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libinklevel5
libinklevel5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libinklevel5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libinklevel5 *
You will get with libinklevel5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
