libimage-transport-dev software package provides Robot OS image_transport package - development, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libimage-transport-dev
libimage-transport-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libimage-transport-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libimage-transport-dev *
You will get with libimage-transport-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
