libid3-3.8.3v5 software package provides library for manipulating ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libid3-3.8.3v5
libid3-3.8.3v5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libid3-3.8.3v5 package were installed using the commands given below,
