libicap-dev software package provides ICAP server (RFC 3507) implementation in C++ (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libicap-dev
libicap-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libicap-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libicap-dev *
You will get with libicap-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
