libhud2-dev software package provides library for exporting items to the Unity HUD, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhud2-dev
libhud2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhud2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhud2-dev *
You will get with libhud2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
