libhtml-strip-perl software package provides module to strip HTML markup from text, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhtml-strip-perl
libhtml-strip-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhtml-strip-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhtml-strip-perl *
You will get with libhtml-strip-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
