libhpdf-2.2.1 software package provides C library for generating pdf files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhpdf-2.2.1
libhpdf-2.2.1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhpdf-2.2.1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhpdf-2.2.1 *
You will get with libhpdf-2.2.1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
