libhmsbeagle-java software package provides High-performance lib for Bayesian and Maximum Likelihood phylogenetics (java), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhmsbeagle-java
libhmsbeagle-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhmsbeagle-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhmsbeagle-java *
You will get with libhmsbeagle-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
