libheartbeat2 software package provides Subsystem for High-Availability Linux (libraries), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libheartbeat2
libheartbeat2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libheartbeat2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libheartbeat2 *
You will get with libheartbeat2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
