libgyoto4-dev software package provides development files for libgyoto, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgyoto4-dev
libgyoto4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgyoto4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgyoto4-dev *
You will get with libgyoto4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
