libgsmme1v5 software package provides GSM mobile phone access library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgsmme1v5
libgsmme1v5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgsmme1v5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgsmme1v5 *
