libgretl1 software package provides GNU Regression, Econometric & Time-Series Library -- library package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgretl1
libgretl1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgretl1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgretl1 *
You will get with libgretl1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
