How to uninstall or remove libglfw3 software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libglfw3 package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libglfw3 

Uninstall libglfw3 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libglfw3 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglfw3 
Use Purging libglfw3

If you use with purge options to libglfw3 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libglfw3 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglfw3
