libglfw3-dev software package provides portable library for OpenGL, window and input (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libglfw3-dev
libglfw3-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libglfw3-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libglfw3-dev *
You will get with libglfw3-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
