libgfortran-4.8-dev-powerpc-cr software package provides Runtime library for GNU Fortran applications (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgfortran-4.8-dev-powerpc-cr
libgfortran-4.8-dev-powerpc-cr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgfortran-4.8-dev-powerpc-cr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgfortran-4.8-dev-powerpc-cr*
