libgcj16-awt software package provides AWT peer runtime libraries for use with gcj, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgcj16-awt
libgcj16-awt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgcj16-awt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgcj16-awt *
You will get with libgcj16-awt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
