libfield3d1.6 software package provides library for storing voxel data on disk and in memory, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfield3d1.6
libfield3d1.6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfield3d1.6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfield3d1.6 *
You will get with libfield3d1.6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
