libewf2 software package provides library with support for Expert Witness Compression Format, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libewf2
libewf2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libewf2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libewf2 *
You will get with libewf2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
