libdumbster-java software package provides very simple fake SMTP Server for testing purposes, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdumbster-java
libdumbster-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdumbster-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdumbster-java *
You will get with libdumbster-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
