libdontdie0 software package provides library that sets the TCP keep-alive flag when applications call socket(2), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdontdie0
libdontdie0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdontdie0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdontdie0 *
You will get with libdontdie0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
