libcommon-sense-perl software package provides module that implements some sane defaults for Perl programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcommon-sense-perl
libcommon-sense-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcommon-sense-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcommon-sense-perl *
You will get with libcommon-sense-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
