libcogl-gst-dev software package provides Object oriented GL/GLES Abstraction/Utility Layer (development file, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcogl-gst-dev
libcogl-gst-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcogl-gst-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcogl-gst-dev *
You will get with libcogl-gst-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
