libchado-perl software package provides database schema and tools for genomic data, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libchado-perl
libchado-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libchado-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libchado-perl *
You will get with libchado-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
