libcec-platform-dev software package provides CEC Platform support library -- development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcec-platform-dev
libcec-platform-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcec-platform-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcec-platform-dev *
You will get with libcec-platform-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
