libcdaudio-dev software package provides library for controlling a CD-ROM when playing audio CDs (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdaudio-dev
libcdaudio-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdaudio-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdaudio-dev *
You will get with libcdaudio-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
