libc6-dev-x32 software package provides GNU C Library: X32 ABI Development Libraries for AMD64, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libc6-dev-x32
libc6-dev-x32 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libc6-dev-x32 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6-dev-x32 *
You will get with libc6-dev-x32 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
