libasan2-dbg-armhf-cross software package provides AddressSanitizer -- a fast memory error detector (debug symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libasan2-dbg-armhf-cross
libasan2-dbg-armhf-cross is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libasan2-dbg-armhf-cross package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasan2-dbg-armhf-cross *
You will get with libasan2-dbg-armhf-cross package name, version, architecture and description in a table
