libappstreamqt-dev software package provides Qt5 library to access AppStream services (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libappstreamqt-dev
libappstreamqt-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libappstreamqt-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libappstreamqt-dev *
You will get with libappstreamqt-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
