liballegro5.0 software package provides portable library for cross-platform game and multimedia development, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liballegro5.0
liballegro5.0 is installed in your system.
