lib64gfortran-5-dev-mips-cross software package provides Runtime library for GNU Fortran applications (64bit development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib64gfortran-5-dev-mips-cross
lib64gfortran-5-dev-mips-cross is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib64gfortran-5-dev-mips-cross package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib64gfortran-5-dev-mips-cross*
