lib32readline6 software package provides GNU readline and history libraries, run-time libraries (32-bit), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib32readline6
lib32readline6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib32readline6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib32readline6 *
You will get with lib32readline6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
