lcl software package provides Lazarus Components Library - LCL dependency package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lcl
lcl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lcl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lcl *
You will get with lcl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
