kwin-wayland-backend-x11 software package provides KDE window manager x11 plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kwin-wayland-backend-x11
kwin-wayland-backend-x11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kwin-wayland-backend-x11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kwin-wayland-backend-x11 *
You will get with kwin-wayland-backend-x11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
