klaus software package provides simple easy-to-set-up Git web viewer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install klaus
klaus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the klaus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep klaus *
You will get with klaus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
