How to uninstall or remove kdesdk-thumbnailers software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed kdesdk-thumbnailers package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove kdesdk-thumbnailers 

Uninstall kdesdk-thumbnailers including dependent package

If you would like to remove kdesdk-thumbnailers and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kdesdk-thumbnailers 
Use Purging kdesdk-thumbnailers

If you use with purge options to kdesdk-thumbnailers package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge kdesdk-thumbnailers 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kdesdk-thumbnailers
