juju-local software package provides dependency package for the Juju local provider, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install juju-local
juju-local is installed in your system.
Make ensure the juju-local package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep juju-local *
You will get with juju-local package name, version, architecture and description in a table
