How to Install jflex software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

jflex software package provides lexical analyzer generator for Java, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jflex

jflex is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jflex package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jflex *

You will get with jflex package name, version, architecture and description in a table
