How to Install isync software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

isync software package provides IMAP and MailDir mailbox synchronizer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install isync

isync is installed in your system.

Make ensure the isync package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep isync *

You will get with isync package name, version, architecture and description in a table
