isolinux software package provides collection of bootloaders (ISO 9960 bootloader), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install isolinux
isolinux is installed in your system.
Make ensure the isolinux package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep isolinux *
You will get with isolinux package name, version, architecture and description in a table
