ir-keytable software package provides Alter keymaps of Remote Controller devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ir-keytable
ir-keytable is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ir-keytable package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ir-keytable *
You will get with ir-keytable package name, version, architecture and description in a table
