ipband software package provides daemon for subnet bandwidth monitoring with reporting via email, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ipband
ipband is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ipband package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipband *
You will get with ipband package name, version, architecture and description in a table
