ioprocess software package provides Slave process to perform risky IO, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ioprocess
ioprocess is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ioprocess package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ioprocess *
You will get with ioprocess package name, version, architecture and description in a table
