indicator-display software package provides Collection of small indicators, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install indicator-display
indicator-display is installed in your system.
Make ensure the indicator-display package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep indicator-display *
You will get with indicator-display package name, version, architecture and description in a table
