imagevis3d software package provides desktop volume rendering application for large data, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install imagevis3d
imagevis3d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the imagevis3d package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep imagevis3d *
You will get with imagevis3d package name, version, architecture and description in a table
