icon-naming-utils software package provides script for maintaining backwards compatibility of Tango Project, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install icon-naming-utils
icon-naming-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the icon-naming-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep icon-naming-utils *
You will get with icon-naming-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
