ibus-tegaki software package provides tegaki engine for IBus, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ibus-tegaki
ibus-tegaki is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ibus-tegaki package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ibus-tegaki *
You will get with ibus-tegaki package name, version, architecture and description in a table
